What can I do with the free edition?
All on-screen operations — viewing, editing, comparing, analyzing — are free. Watermark-free PDF saving, page extraction, password protection, e-signatures, OCR, and exporting comparison/Excel-analysis results are paid features. Every feature is unlocked for 30 days after installation.
Do I need Microsoft Office installed?
No. It opens and processes PDF / Word / Excel / PowerPoint files on its own. Documents are processed locally and never sent to our servers.
Is there an extra charge for AI features?
We use BYOK (Bring Your Own Key). You configure your own Anthropic/Claude API key, so there is no charge from us. Usage limits depend on your own account.
Does it work offline?
Core features run offline. AI features (generation, summarization, translation) and some TTS engines (Microsoft Neural, ElevenLabs) require an internet connection.
How do I check my license?
